My Treatment Approach:

I am dedicated to the psychological growth and well-being of my patients, and I maintain a deep respect for the individual, for his/her needs and abilities. I integrate effective, proven therapy methods into an individual treatment plan for each patient.

Understanding and working with the patient’s strengths, as well as his/her vulnerabilities, enables me to provide comprehensive treatment. My empathic style enables me to provide a safe environment for self-exploration and understanding. My extensive experience and broad knowledge base helps me to develop, along with the patient, a more thorough perspective on my patients’ issues and on the steps that need to be taken for their resolution.

Experience:

I have been in private practice for 29 years, working with adults, adolescents, and children with a wide variety of issues. I have also worked in college counseling centers, in inpatient settings, and in community mental health centers.
